Our company, tomcast GmbH Antennenanlagen
(Antenna Systems), was incorporated on July 1, 2002.
Our roots can be traced back to the BBC company (BROWN,
BOVERI & CIE AG) domiciled in Mannheim and in Switzerland.
In 1988, BBC was renamed to ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).
ABB's Antenna Systems Division, with branch offices
in Bochum, Mannheim, and Munich, was acquired by THOMSEN
CNF on October 1, 1993. This was the origin of THOMCAST
GmbH Sendeanlagen fuer Hoerfunk und Fernsehen
(Transmitting Installations for Radio and Television),
which was renamed to THALES Broadcast & Multimedia
GmbH as per February 1, 2002. On July 1, 2002, THALES
disposed of its Bochum and Munich operations. By way
of a management buy-out (MBO), the present tomcast
GmbH Antennenanlagen was established.
Since 2008 the INDUS Holding AG is the new owner of the tomcast GmbH Antennenanlagen. |
